Hello and welcome to the West Coast Bag Company.  I would like to start by thanking you for your interest in our company and products.

Destiny brought these wonderful bags and accessories to me and I created the West Coast Bag Company to bring them to you.

Just as our beautiful West Coast is unique and unlike anything out there, so too are our bags and related products.  European craftsmanship and award winning design come together to create practical yet splendid beauty.  Simple and well made while visually striking every bag and accessory is manufactured with the customer’s ease of use and comfort in mind.

From computers to books and groceries to beach ware the West Coast Bag Company has a bag “For Everything You Carry”

I would like to suggest that you let your emotions take you to the bag that is right for you and fall in love with it.  From here let logic take over and just feel good about it!  Why?  Because you just made a difference!  A step in the right direction towards lessening your “Carbon Imprint” on the planet.  Next time you are at the market you can proudly claim “I will not need a plastic bag I have my own!” 

Part of my motivation for starting this company was the appeal of helping the environment by offering an alternative to the plastic bag.  As you can see by clicking on the Environment vs. Plastic Bags button they are an environmental nightmare that will soon affect us all.  Our local legislators are under pressure to ban the plastic bag.

It takes one thousand years for a plastic bag to degrade. They have been in mass production since the early 80's and there are now around a trillion produced worldwide every year.  Many cities in Europe and North America have banned the plastic bag.  San Francisco to the south of us is one of them.
